Santoor Scholarship 2024-25: Empowering young women to pursue higher education, the Santoor Scholarship Programme, in its ninth edition, offers financial support to 1,500 students across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh. Launched in 2016-17 by Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares, the initiative has supported over 6,000 young women to date. Each selected student will receive a fixed scholarship of INR 24,000 annually until the completion of their degree programme.

Santoor Scholarship 2024-25: Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to young women from underprivileged backgrounds residing in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, or Chhattisgarh.
  • Must have passed Class 10 from a local government school.
  • Must have passed Class 12 from a government school or junior college in the academic year 2023-24.
  • Must be enrolled in a full-time graduate programme starting in 2024-25 (minimum duration of 3 years).

Note: Preference will be given to students from aspirational (backward) districts and those pursuing education in humanities, liberal arts, sciences, or professional courses.
